Letters Sent by CNC
Baseball Sign Ms. Elaine Pfefferman, Deputy Council District 12 Field Office 18917 Nordhoff Street, Suite 18 Northridge, CA 91324 Dear Elaine, At the December general meeting of the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council, the Board adopted the following: "Resolved that the CNC send a letter to the Council District 12 office expressing support for the installation of a roadside sign bearing the wording, 'Welcome to Chatsworth, Home of the 2003 National Champion Chatsworth High School Baseball Team' or comparable wording. Said sign should be placed near either the DeSoto Avenue or Topanga Canyon Boulevard exit from the Ronald Reagan Freeway facing southbound traffic." We viewed such a sign as both an appropriate announcement that vehicle occupants are entering our community and an expression of pride in the accomplishment of our local public high school students. We would welcome the input of your office on the size and design of this sign, and we will appreciate any help you can provide in getting it made and installed.
