Our aim is to offer temporary accommodation to those affected by the odor as soon as possible, and we are trying to provide enough flexibility so that no resident should have to wait long to move away from the odor. For example, we offer to place residents at hotels as we work with them to explore more suitable temporary accommodations, as necessary. SoCalGas has retained 17 relocation agencies to help manage the temporary relocation process. If any affected resident were to feel the need to seek a temporary relocation on their own before one of our representatives can arrange temporary accommodations on their behalf, affected residents are free to make their own temporary accommodation arrangements within the parameters of our program, and we will reimburse them.
