
LADWP will host Customer Support Saturday on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at three Customer Service Center locations across Los Angeles. The event gives customers a chance to get one-on-one help with utility bill support programs and learn ways to save water, power, and money. No RSVP is required.
During Customer Support Saturday, LADWP staff will help customers enroll in programs designed to make bills easier to manage. Available programs include:

Customers who want to enroll in the Lifeline program should bring the required documents. LADWP says applicants should bring proof of age, proof of income, proof of disability, plus their LADWP bill, gas bill, and telephone bill. Acceptable examples listed on the flyer include a driver’s license or ID card, Form 540, SSI or Social Security benefit information, CalWORKS or AFDC documents, general relief documents, a notarized letter, and a recent disability certification signed by a licensed physician.

This event is a good option for customers who want direct help understanding their utility bill or signing up for available discount and payment programs. Since no reservation is needed, customers can stop by during event hours and speak with staff in person.
