My name is Allan Braish, and I am seeking your support to serve on the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council. As a dedicated resident of our community, I am passionate about building a neighborhood where every voice matters and collaboration leads to meaningful progress.
With a background in entrepreneurship and business management, I have honed skills in leadership, problem-solving, and fostering partnerships. These experiences have taught me the value of inclusivity and the importance of listening to diverse perspectives to create solutions that benefit everyone. My work has also reinforced my commitment to transparency and accountability, qualities I will bring to this position.
Chatsworth is a unique and diverse community, and I believe we have the potential to address challenges while embracing opportunities for growth. My priorities include advocating for improved infrastructure, enhancing public safety, supporting small businesses, and creating youth engagement programs that empower the next generation. I am also passionate about environmental sustainability and will work to promote initiatives that protect our natural spaces.
If elected, I will focus on fostering open communication and ensuring residents have the opportunity to participate in decisions that shape our community’s future. I am committed to making Chatsworth an even better place to live, work, and thrive.
I am excited about the opportunity to serve and would be honored to have your trust and support in this election. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant Chatsworth.
John Joseph

As a husband and father, I deeply value the safety and well-being of our community. I’m running for the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council because I believe in building a stronger, more vibrant neighborhood for all of us.
I’m committed to:
- Improving safety and security: Working with law enforcement and residents to address concerns about crime and enhance public safety measures.
- Preserving our green spaces: Protecting our parks and open spaces while exploring ways to improve recreational facilities for families.
- Supporting local businesses: Advocating for policies that foster a thriving local economy and support our small businesses.
- Enhancing community engagement: Fostering open communication channels between residents and the Council, ensuring everyone has a voice in shaping the future of Chatsworth.
I believe my experience as a husband and father gives me a unique perspective on the needs of our community. I understand the importance of a safe and welcoming environment for families to thrive. Tim Mahoney

I’m Tim Mahoney, and I’m running for a position on the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council to help shape a brighter future for our community. As a long-time resident and a business executive, I have the leadership experience and problem-solving skills needed to make a real impact.
I’ll bring a commitment of collaboration and efficiency to our Neighborhood Council, working closely with local stakeholders to address community needs, ensuring our voices are heard and ensuring we work together to solve key issues like safety,
infrastructure, and local development.
I believe in transparency, inclusivity, and finding common ground. My goal is to be part of an environment where every resident feels valued and every decision benefits our collective future. Whether it’s supporting small businesses, improving public spaces, or advocating for neighborhood improvements, I’m dedicated to making our community a better place for all.
I would be honored to have your support and the opportunity to serve you.
Jett Dunlap

I am running for this position because I believe our community deserves stronger grassroots leadership. Just over a week ago, I stopped a man from attempting to set Chatsworth Park North on fire. Months earlier, I stood with a garden hose, spraying flames on our hill as firefighters worked to protect our home. These experiences have made it clear that our city’s safety is at a critical point, and immediate action is needed.
I want to be a voice for our community, ensuring these urgent issues are heard and addressed. Together, we can elevate conversations about public safety and work toward tangible solutions to protect our homes, parks, and quality of life in Chatsworth.
Don D Paul

There’s more, yet y’all can just suggest I move on.
Ramiel George Shamwel

Douglas E Nolan
I have been a constituent of Chatsworth for 14 years. I pride myself as “Boots on the Ground” helping homeless both personally and asking L.A. City and County officials for help and reporting issues. I presented this year for Chatsworth and Los Angeles in front of the L.A. County Board of Supervisors as well as City Hall. I notice everything that could be improved such as street lighting with MyLA311, tree pruning with the Urban Forestry Division, and street sweeping with the Bureau of Sanitation. I was at the Christmas tree lighting with Lindsey Horvath and Kathryn Barger just to have a Chatsworth presence.
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in 2024 from the University of Arizona Global Campus with a 3.78 GPA. I was recently accepted into Law School for a Juris Doctorate Degree at Abraham Lincoln University and plan to use my knowledge and education to focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance laws. However, from what I have learned from life experience, there are many other areas of legislation that need to be updated and improved. There is a famous American Historian named Daniel Boorstin who said, “The great thing about the American people is their pragmatism and willingness to change things when the olde ways stopped working”. I am also in pursuit of obtaining my Part 107 Unmanned Aircraft Systems license with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Lastly, I volunteer for the Special Olympics, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Red Cross, and Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

She believes in amplifying voices, advocating for necessary resources, and driving impactful initiatives that benefit both individuals and the broader community. Her proven track record of problem-solving, event execution, and marketing expertise makes her the ideal candidate for a position where communication and outreach are key.
By electing Rose Atarodi, you are choosing a leader who listens, takes action, and delivers results. Her passion for service, commitment to equity, and drive for excellence set her apart. If you want strong leadership, meaningful progress, and a future-focused approach, Rose Atarodi is the right choice.
Roxane Bocskay

I am excited to apply for a position on the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council because I am deeply committed to the well-being and development of our community. As a dedicated healthcare professional, educator, and active community member, I believe in fostering initiatives that enhance public health, safety, and the overall quality of life for Chatsworth residents.
My background in healthcare, particularly in public health and mental health advocacy, equips me with the skills necessary to address the critical issues facing our neighborhood. I understand the importance of accessible healthcare resources, mental health awareness, and emergency preparedness, all of which are essential for a thriving community. Additionally, my experience as an educator has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, engage diverse groups, and implement solutions that benefit the greater good.
Beyond my professional expertise, I am passionate about community engagement and collaboration. Having participated in various outreach programs and volunteer initiatives, I recognize the importance of civic involvement in shaping a stronger, more inclusive Chatsworth. If allowed to serve on the Neighborhood Council, I will actively listen to residents’ concerns, advocate for policies that reflect community needs, and work diligently to improve local programs and resources.
Chatsworth is a unique and vibrant community, and I am eager to contribute my skills and experience to its continued growth and success. I would be honored to represent our residents and collaborate with fellow council members to make a meaningful impact. I appreciate your consideration.
Nicolas Montaño

I’ve been a board member and currently the president of the CNC.
Mark Cox

For 35 years, my martial arts school has been a cornerstone of Chatsworth, instilling discipline, confidence, and a sense of responsibility in our community. Having proudly served three terms on the City Council, I am running once more to ensure accountability where it matters most—especially regarding the homeless shelters in our area. These shelters must operate as intended, providing real solutions without compromising the safety and well-being of our residents.
Keeping our town safe has always been my mission—both personally and through my school. I have worked tirelessly to support our law enforcement, advocate for responsible community policies, and foster programs that promote security and stability. But there is still work to be done.
I believe in common-sense leadership, transparency, and taking action.
Daniel De La Cruz

As a recent graduate in the field of Registered Nursing, I care deeply about the human condition at the holistic level. We are taught as nurses that this means not just the clinical, biological aspect of health, but the social, mental, environmental facets of life. Essentially, mind, body, and spirit.
In practical terms- I am interested in learning about at all the issues that impact this unique and historic neighborhood, and advocating on behalf of its residents. Land use, homelessness, cultural and recreational enrichment, to name a few.
I have zero presumptions on how this neighborhood should be run, particularly not when compared to its longtime residents. Which is why I am committed to spending time and taking effort to listen to all concerns, comments, and recommendations, so that I may serve as an advocate and voice of the people that make this neighborhood so truly special.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope that you will allow me to repay the favor if elected.
Richard Medrano

As the CEO of City of Angels Community Choirs, a nonprofit organization based in Chatsworth, I have dedicated my life to enriching our community through the performing arts. Our organization provides scholarships to children from underserved areas, ensuring that every child, regardless of financial background, has access to music education and performance opportunities. Through our outreach programs, we have raised funds for vital causes, including LAPD Devonshire PALS, women’s shelters, and other local charities. Our choir participates in parades, hospital performances, and community events, using music as a tool to uplift and unite.
I believe in the power of community—when we know each other, celebrate each other, and support one another, we create a stronger, more connected Chatsworth. If elected, I will work to enhance community engagement, advocate for local arts and education, and ensure that every resident feels heard and valued.
Chatsworth is more than just where we live—it is our home. Let’s work together to build a thriving, inclusive, and vibrant community for all. I would be honored to have your vote.
